Rebecca Shigley, CIC, TRA, FLMI, AIE, AIRC, ACS, CICSR

Rebecca is the Chief Operating Officer at the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) and North Carolina Association of Insurance Agents (NCAIA). In her role, Rebecca leads professional development, membership, business consulting, member insurance products, and facilities management initiatives. Rebecca is one of the founders of IIANC's Women IA-Executives Network (WIN) empowering women to achieve success in the insurance industry. Most of all she is passionate about bringing new talent into the insurance industry through InsurAcademy and connecting independent insurance agencies to resources that help them succeed!

Fun facts about Rebecca:

• She loves to cook and teaches cooking classes at WhiskCarolina in Cary
• She has five sisters - there were six girls in her family... no boys!
• She owned a Harley Davidson Sportster (hunter green), but her hubby made her sell it before their kids were born
