Garrett Beatty

Garrett, originally from the Cary/Apex area, lives in Carrboro, North Carolina. He recently graduated from Wake Technical Community College, with an Associates in Science with a focus on conservation. Prior to joining NCAIA, Garrett worked in retail for five years, but was ready for a career change. He was accepted into InsurAcademy in March 2024, and completed the full program in May 2024, having received his P&C license. One of his favorite hobbies is fishing, as he loves being on the water, and getting immersed in nature. 

Fun facts:

1. Garrett is a self-proclaimed huge Star Wars nerd, and likes to collect Lego Star Wars sets and minifigs. His favorite Star Wars character is Captain Rex. 
2. He owns a pitbull and lab mix named Lynley, who he got from the Wake County SPCA, and has brought so much joy to his life. 
3. He is a fly fisherman.
