Employee Benefits Training Through the Agent Development Program

As part of IIANC membership, agencies receive free access to the Agent Development Program, which now includes 22 newly added Employee Benefits courses designed to support agencies offering or expanding benefits services.

These on-demand courses focus on practical, real-world employee benefits topics and are available at no cost to IIANC members and employees within their agency - making it easy to train teams, strengthen benefits conversations, and build internal expertise across your organization.

Courses are accessible anytime through the Agent Development Program, giving agencies a flexible, scalable way to develop staff and support long-term growth in employee benefits.

GLP Weight Loss Medications: What Insurance Professionals Need to Know

Thursday, August 20, 2026 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (2 CE Hours – Health Benefits)

This course equips health/benefits agents with a practical understanding of GLP-1–based medications (and “GLP-3” as an informal shorthand for emerging triple-agonist therapies in the pipeline) and how employer plan sponsors can responsibly cover and/or support access. Agents will learn the current clinical/market landscape, the “why” for employers (health outcomes, workforce impact, cost trend), and a menu of benefit design options - from fully integrated coverage to utilization management and tax-advantaged reimbursement strategies.
