Outstanding CSR of the Year Award
Let a CSR know just how great they are by nominating them for the Outstanding CSR of the Year Award. The OCSRY competition started in 1991 to honor customer service representatives and account managers who have made significant contributions to the insurance and risk management industry. The competition is sponsored by the Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives (CISR) and the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC)-- proud member organizations of the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance (formerly The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research).
How do you nominate someone? It’s easy! Just click this link and fill out the short form. Once complete, email it to education@iianc.com.
What can they (AND YOU) win? State winners will get National Recognition, a framed certificate and will move on to the National Competition. Finalists in the National Competition will receive a $500 cash award, National Recognition and a gold pin. The National Award winner will get all of the above AND $2000! And guess what? If you nominate someone who wins the National Award, you’ll get $1000!
Please note: the application period for this award is closed at this time

Veterans Pre-Licensing Scholarship Program
To show our support for the men and women of the armed forces who have served our country, IIANC is proud to offer a Veterans Licensing Scholarship Program. This provides all honorably discharged U.S. Veterans residing in North Carolina the opportunity to begin a rewarding career in the insurance industry by pursuing the education and training needed to receive a North Carolina Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License - at no cost. Funding for the scholarship program is provided by the IIANC Education Foundation.
Diversity Scholarship
In an effort to demonstrate our commitment to the promotion of diversity, inclusion and racial justice, IIANC's Diversity Scholarship will offset the cost of pre-licensing, professional development, and other onboarding-related training needed to newly-hired
racial minorities by IIANC member agencies. IIANC stands strongly against racism and injustice and we are committed to making positive, meaningful changes that will create more diversity within North Carolina's insurance community. The scholarship
amount is $500 and will be awarded to agencies to offset incurred costs.
